About me:: I am a PGYII soon to be a PGYIII resident in Family Medicine at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I graduated from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute from Madras (now Chennai) Tamil Nadu, India. I am lucky to say that I learned medicine from two very different vantage points and have been able to blend clinical medicine while applying the best practices/evidence based practices to my development as a physician. After graduating from medical school, I took time out and worked as a Biomedical Engineer with International Biomedical Systems Inc. out of Pennsylvania. That experience helped me gain a different perspective about the workings of ancillary staff in the delivery of medical care. My interests are in primary care medicine, adolescent medicine, clinical informatics and cross cultural/ cultural diversity research.
